 Barbara Grund is a German Canadian who has lived in Canada for over 30 years and has worked for over 20 of those years as a holistic health care professional. In addition to a German degree in Alternative Medicine and British degrees in Naturopathy and Psychology, she holds certificates in Shiatsu, Deep Muscle Therapy, Nutrition and Health Kinesiology. Her training occurred during a period before these therapies became as popular as they are today. In Germany she studied and became proficient in the use of Dr. W.H. Schuessler's Biochemical Tissue Salts - homeopathic diluted minerals. These inorganic minerals are important for daily functioning, maintaining, rebuilding, and detoxifying the cell. The illness of the cell originates through the loss of inorganic minerals. Biochemical Tissue Salt therapy affects the body, and even the mind, on multiple levels. Facial Analysis involves observing and analyzing the surface of the skin in the face to reveal weaknesses and mineral deficiencies.
